EHS Football Picks Up First Win

On Friday, September 20th, the EHS football team traveled to Ellinwood for their third regular season game. The Railers came into the game with an 0-2 record, hoping to find the first win of the season. The Railers started strong, grasping an early 14-0 lead. The Railers continued to control both sides of the ball, going into halftime with a 30-0 lead. The Railers were able to coast to a victory, winning, 50-7.

Tegan Cain threw for 184 yards on 11 completions with 2 TDs, acquiring a QB rating of 119.6.
Konnor Pfeifer ran for 129 yards on 11 carries with 2 TDs, and 143 all purpose yards. Mason Gottschalk ran for 88 yards on 3 carries and 1 TD.
Zach Eck had 2 receptions totaling for 56 yards, and 1 TD. Sam Honas had 4 receptions combing for 50 yards, and 1 TD.
Brian Carbajal led the team in tackles with 9 solo and 4 assists. Konnor Pfeifer followed closely with 7 solo and 3 assists.

The Railers next matchup is at home against La Crosse on Friday, September 27th.
