EHS Basketball Defeated By Phillipsburg

On Friday, November 30th, the EHS basketball team traveled to Phillipsburg. The game started slow for the Railer's, only scoring 8 points throughout the first quarter. The second quarter was especially rough for the Railer's, only hitting one shot. Phillipsburg was leading at half, 29-11. The Railer's were able to find a rhythm right out of halftime, outscoring the Panthers 15-13 in the 3rd quarter. The Railer's continued to score, but were unable to overcome the 18 point deficit, losing, 50-39. Leading scorers for the Railers were Zachary Eck, 12, Cade Lewis, 10, and Brady Frickey, 8.

The Railer's will next play on December 3, against Wheatland, for the first game of pool play in the Castle Rock Classic.
